Junior Finalists and Coaches at Thornton Abbey - Special thanks go to the Environment Agency

We are proud to be associated with the Environment Agency, we wish to thank them for there support so far and continued support in the future

A hot afternoon saw all the youngsters fighting the heat and a plenty of fish. Although it was quite weedy all the lads managed to catch well throughout the session. Match winner of this session was Thomas Anderson with a well earned 4lb+ of Rudd and Skimmers. All agreed it had been well worthwhile coaching session. Each finalist received a certificate, £10 voucher and prizes very kindly donated.. more details to follow

Platforms downstream of Kirkstead bridge on the Witham
This is just to confirm our contractors will be on site renovating the fishing platforms on Tuesday of next week (30th of August)

The works will mainly be putting safety edging around the steel piling on some of the platforms and raising the height and infill on others.

Hopefully the works will only continue for a couple of weeks and your clubs anglers won't be disturbed too much.
